Only You Can Save Mankind. That was the name of the computer game Johnny had gotten from Wobbler. The game claimed that you were the only starship left to save civilization. Everything was up to you.
Johnny had died six times already and he was finally about to get up to Level 10 when “We wish to talk” flashed on the screen. Johnny pressed pause and read the manual. Nothing about the message that kept flashing on the screen even during the pause.
“Die, alien scum/”, he typed. (Johnny’s typing skill weren’t the best)
“No! We do not wish to die! We wish to talk!”
“We Surrender! PLEASE!”
