Booktalk:
Tiffany Aching was still learning how to be a witch and how witchcraft worked. She hadn't even realized she was a witch until her talents started manifesting. And, she wasn't quite sure just how she did what she did when she did it. So, now she had to leave the Chalk country for the first time and go away to learn proper witching. And, she had to go alone. The Mac Nac Feegles had their own kelda now, and they needed to support her as she supported them. It would not be politic or polite for them to tag along. For, much as the Wee Free Men loved their hag (as they called witches), they were . . . well, the best that can be said it that they were a bit 'unstructured.' Or rowdy, or obnoxious. Thieves, mischievous, quarrelsome. And ugly. Small, red-haired. And, all male except for the kelda. And so Mist Tick took Tiffany off to be trained by Miss Level; a lady with two bodies, but one soul. Everything was going along quite well, and Thank You. Until the hiver showed up to take over Tiffany's mind and body. When the Mac Nac Feegle found out, Rob Anybody the kelda's mate set out with a group of Wee Free Men to rescue Tiffany.
